OFFICIAL RULES
1.HOW TO ENTER: Enter using the online form located on WNDU.com’s homepage. You may also enter on behalf of more than one child, but an entry for each child must be made separately. No mechanically reproduced entries will be accepted. Only 1 entry per child will be accepted. Entries will only be accepted between Mon, Dec 17 2012 5:50 PM EST - Mon, Dec 31 2012 11:59 PM EST.
2.PRIZES: Two (2) Grand Prizes will be awarded, each consisting of a Junior Globetrotter experience on Friday January 25, 2013 7:30PM Eastern Standard Time during the Harlem Globetrotter’s games at the Joyce Center, including four (4) tickets, one (1) seat on the Globetrotter’s bench for the winning child, one (1) Globetrotter’s t-shirt for the winning child, and one (1) autographed basketball for the winning child. All other expenses not specifically mentioned herein such as for transportation to and from event, parking, etc. are solely the responsibility of the prize winner and guest. No alternate dates are available. All minors (under the age of 18) must be accompanied by an adult at all times except while child is on the bench. No responsibility is assumed by Sponsors for canceled, delayed, suspended or rescheduled event. Sponsor reserves the right to assign seating.
3.DRAWING: Prize winners will be selected in a random drawing from among all eligible entries received. Drawing will be held on or about 1/3/13 and will be conducted by representatives of WNDU. All decisions of the station shall be final. Odds of winning depend upon the number of eligible entries received. All prizes will be awarded.
4.ELIGIBILITY: Sweepstakes open to legal U.S. residents of Indiana or Michigan, 18 years of age or older who is the parent or legal guardian of a child between the ages of 6 and 12 as of 1/25/13. Employees of The Joyce Center, Harlem Globetrotters, WNDU, and each of their respective parent companies, subsidiaries, divisions, affiliates, distributors, suppliers and advertising, promotional or judging agencies and immediate family members and persons living in the same household of such employees are not eligible to win. Limit one prize per name, address and/or household.
5.GENERAL TERMS: No substitution of prize is offered, no transfer of prize to a third party is permitted and non-cash prizes may not be redeemed for cash value. Sponsor reserves the right to award a prize of equal or greater value if the published prize is unavailable. Void wherever prohibited or restricted by law. All federal, state and local laws and regulations apply. Prize recipient will be solely responsible for paying all federal, state and local taxes on prizes; if applicable, winner may receive an IRS Form 1099 for the retail value of the prize. No groups, clubs, newsletters or organizations may reproduce or distribute any portion of these Official Rules to its members. All entrants, as a condition of entry, agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor, which shall be final and binding
6.WINNER NOTIFICATION/RELEASES: All potential winners will be notified by phone and/or mail within two (2) days of the drawing. Prize winners will be required to claim their prize within two (2) days of date of attempted notification by signing and returning an Affidavit of Eligibility and Liability/Publicity Release. In the event (i) required documents are not returned within 2 days (ii) mail is returned as undeliverable mail without a forwarding address (iii) a telephone notification is not confirmed to Sponsor within forty-eight (48) hours or (iv) winner can’t attend on the date specified, the prize may be forfeited and an alternate winner may be selected from among all remaining entries. Any portion of any prize not accepted by winner shall be forfeited. Upon forfeiture for any reason as stated herein, no compensation shall be given. If applicable, allow 10 to 12 weeks for delivery of prize following completion of notification process. Prizes will only be delivered to addresses in Indiana and Michigan. All winners, by acceptance of a prize, agree to release Notre Dame University, Harlem Globetrotters, WNDU and each of their respective parent companies, subsidiaries, divisions, affiliates, suppliers, distributors and advertising, promotional or judging agencies from any and all liability, claims or actions of any kind whatsoever for injuries, damages or losses to persons and property which may be sustained in connection with the receipt, ownership or use of the prize or while preparing for, participating in, and/or traveling to any prize-related activity or any typographical or other error in these Official Rules or in the announcement or offering of any prize. Sponsor makes no representations or warranties of any kind concerning the appearance, performance or safety of any prize awarded. The winner shall bear all risk of loss or damage to prize after it has been delivered. Sponsor and its agents have made no representation, warranty or guaranty, expressed or implied, in fact or in law, relative to any prize or part thereof. Sponsor reserves the right to cancel or suspend the sweepstakes if it is tampered with or corrupted in any manner and, in the event of cancellation, prizes will be awarded via a random drawing to be conducted from all eligible entries received as of the date of cancellation. Except where prohibited by law, winners must consent to the use of their name, voice, picture or other likeness without compensation for promotional purposes in all media as determined by Sponsor.
7.WINNERS' LIST: For a list of the major prize winners, send a self-addressed stamped envelope before January 30, 2013 to WNDU Studios c/o Web Director P.O. Box 1616 South Bend, IN 46601.
